Network Operations Engineer (based in HK), Bloomberg

Linda joined Bloomberg in 2019 as a network engineer, responsible for the maintenance, support, and development of the Bloomberg Network.

 

Linda is also the core committee member for Bloomberg Women in IT community, where she often hosts social events and tech talks, to interconnect talents with different backgrounds and to encourage knowledge sharing.

 

She holds a master's degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from City University of Hong Kong. 

 

In her free time, Linda loves organizing events for her friends as well as outdoor activities such as rock climbing, aerial yoga, and wake-surfing. She is also an animal lover with 3 lovely cats at home. 

 

Corrine Wang   

Singapore Team Leader - Implementation Specialists (based in Singapore), Bloomberg

Corrine is the Team Leader of Bloomberg's Implementation Specialist / Technical Support department in Singapore.

 

Her team's main responsibilities are to address ASEAN Bloomberg clients’ connectivity requirements and lead the installation of Bloomberg Terminals. They coordinate closely with a variety of internal teams to deliver access to the Bloomberg infrastructure while troubleshooting global technical service issues related to network connectivity and software.

 

Corrine joined Bloomberg as a fresh graduate 16 years ago and progressed from technical support to project management. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Systems & Network Technology and has an attention-seeking toddler.

 

Jessica Liu

Founding Member @ Planto.io | Co-Chair, Digital Banking & Payments Committee (FTAHK)

Jessica is a founding member of Planto, a fintech company that offers end-to-end solutions that enable financial institutions to understand and engage their customers as well as drive digital sales through big data, AI, and proprietary machine learning models.

 

Prior to Planto, Jessica worked in Private Equity and Banking. She is the Co-Chair of the Digital Banking and Payments Committee at the Fintech Association of Hong Kong and is active in several women’s advocacy initiatives.

 

She used to be the lead singer of a post-rock band.

 

Kat Kukreja

Counsel | Board Director, ACC Hong Kong | Co-Chair, Blockchain Committee (FTAHK)

Kat acts as an Advisor to DigiAlly, a Singapore fintech company that is focused on bridging the credibility gap between financial institutions and SMEs through the provision of a comprehensive credibility score that enables financial institutions to efficiently onboard SMEs, and for SMEs to have greater access to financing initiatives.

 

Prior to her role at DigiAlly, Kat has worked in-house at both buy-side and sell-side institutions, including Wellington Management and JP Morgan, as well as with a number of start-up and early-growth companies. 

 

She is the Co-Chair of the Blockchain Committee of the FinTech Association in Hong Kong and is active in a number of DEI initiatives.  

 

Kat is also a qualified English and Hong Kong barrister.

 

Carol Pang  

Senior HR Manager, Thakral One

Passionate and hands-on HR Business Partner and HR Manager who has a keen interest in HR Technology and Talent Management. Experienced in setting up the HR functions from scratch and proficient in handling the full set of Payroll.

 

Other areas of experience covers that of Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefit, Performance Management, HR Policy design, People Management, Process Improvements. Sound knowledge of Labour relations and Occupational Health & Safety.

 

Anjali Bhasin

Jeremy Hebblethwaite

Entrepreneurial-spirited, pioneering technologist with 20+ years of banking experience including 10+ at executive level.

 

As a former regional Head of Architecture with Tier 1 International Private Banks in Asia, Jeremy has been facilitating strategic business processes by identifying, qualifying, building consensus for, and implementing a range of technologies and enterprise systems.

 

He has a broad expertise in client / vendor management, enterprise architecture, software design and development, IT security, network, infrastructure and full project life cycle management.

 

Millet Egasani   

Philippines Country Head, Thakral One

Millet Egasani is the Country Head of Thakral One in the Philippines. As an IT Professional for more than 20 years, she has supported enterprises such as Banking, Insurance, Telco, Utilities among others in their various business & IT initiatives throughout Asia.

 

Millet’s career in Technology kicked off as systems analyst & developer of Mainframe Customer and Finance systems, then towards IT Operations as a Service Delivery Manager  during Y2K Era (Year 2000), and evolved as a Sales Executive focused on Financial Services Industry for 5 years during the crunch time for Anti Money Laundering, Risk & Compliance, before moving on to being a Digital Head in charge of consulting and transformation in Cloud, Business Solutions like CRM & ERP plus Data & Analytics, prior to becoming Thakral One’s country head.

 

She is considered as an industry Thought Leader, having been invited as speaker for various business and IT events and conferences in the Philippines and in South East Asia. Her passion lies in promoting collaboration, developing talents in new technologies and helping clients solve business problems thru innovation.

 

Samantha Goh

Senior Vice President, Technology Group, Projects, Change and Engagement   

Sam is passionate about people, and an advocate of tech transformation – technology has so much to offer and can be leveraged to make us work more effectively and efficiently.

 

Sam heads up the Projects, Change & Engagement team in the Technology Group at GIC. She governs Tech Group’s portfolio of projects, directs change management work for projects and drives continuous business engagement.

 

“As change practitioners, my team and I focus on the people aspect of all changes. Tech transformations help us to evolve and grow, but it can also be disruptive. We help ensure people are aware, ready and prepared for the changes we introduce, from the early adopters to those who need a bit more time, to help them understand what these changes mean for them. “

 

She is passionate about sharing the ‘who’ and ‘why’ of a business in compelling and meaningful ways and is most excited designing captivating collateral to share a narrative. She is a mother of two boys and one furgirl – they inspire her to be the best version of herself every day!
