eFinancialCareers is the media partner of NUS School of Computing Developers Students Club Hack For Good

eFinancialCareers, the world-leading financial services and tech career platform, is the media partner of NUS School of Computing Developers Students Club Hack for Good, a student-run hackathon which seeks to inspire students to learn and use technology for social causes. The innovation challenge is unique in that the students are posing real problem statements provided by NPOs in Singapore.

What is Hack4Good:

Participating teams are expected to create technological prototypes as part of their solution to tackle their chosen statement and directly benefit the NPO backing it. The initiative fosters collaborations between the club, corporate sponsors, NPOs and the students in this event. It aims to produce practical technological prototypes that can make a tangible impact and contribute to positive social change.

What is DSC Soc:

DSC SoC is part of an international community of over 750 student-run clubs across the world initiated by Google that focuses on using technology to bring meaningful social impacts. The mission in DSC SoC is to promote the idea of #TechForGood within the NUS community. To achieve this, we have worked with various partners to organise hackathons and tech workshops for undergraduate students in NUS.
